THE CONTEXT
A broad catalog needs a clear point of view.
Pet supplies, accessories, office essentials and everyday finds. Different categories need to feel like parts of the same shop.
Lexy Shops brings a wide mix of products together. The design challenge is to create a storefront that feels curated and easy to explore, while keeping search, categories and shopping actions visible.
THE APPROACH
Commerce with an editorial rhythm.
Let imagery invite discovery. Let a clear hierarchy do the organizing.
A composed first impression
One leading story is balanced by smaller category stories, giving the opening screen variety without losing a focal point.
Practical navigation
The approved design gives search a prominent position, with category navigation and account, wishlist and bag entry points in the header.
Warm, recognizable character
Soft neutrals, dark typography, restrained gold accents and rounded imagery give the storefront a consistent visual language.
03 / THE APPROVED EXPERIENCE
From first impression
to a place to explore.
Start with intent.
A wide search field and a clearly organized category structure anchor the top of the design. People who know what they want have an obvious starting point.
Follow a story.
The main fashion feature sits alongside office and pet stories. Different product worlds share one composed editorial layout.
Choose your category.
Image-led category tiles make the catalog tangible. Consistent labels and shapes connect a varied collection of products.
DESIGN & FRONT-END APPROACH
Carry the character into every interaction.
The approved design sets the foundation. Ongoing development translates it into a responsive, interactive storefront.
Responsive composition
The implementation direction is to preserve the hierarchy across screen sizes, recomposing navigation and discovery areas for smaller screens.
Considered micro-interactions
Motion and interaction work is focused on subtle feedback, clear states and continuity between browsing actions.
A coherent product experience
Typography, spacing, surface treatments and reusable interface patterns guide the front-end work as the experience develops.
WHERE THE PROJECT STANDS
An approved direction. A build in progress.
Design approved by the client
The visual direction shown here is approved. Development and refinement are continuing.
The approved storefront establishes the brand’s visual character and a clear structure for discovery. It demonstrates Rovilo’s approach to e-commerce design and product experience. This case study covers the approved design direction; the complete shopping experience is still being developed.
